Dr. Aparna Ayyagari is board-certified in endocrinology and internal medicine. She has been in the health care field for more than two decades. 

She believes that each of her patients deserve the extra time with her for a detailed conversation about their health. She strives to provide the best in personal care by creating a strong patient-physician relationship, and actively involves her patients in decision making.

Dr. Ayyagari specializes in treatments of thyroid nodules and cancer, thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy, thyroid hormone replacement therapy following thyroid cancer treatment, metabolic bone disease, testosterone replacement therapy in hypogonadism, disorders of parathyroid, adrenal and the pituitary gland, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and other hormonal disorders.

She carried out her fellowship in endocrinology at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She is also certified with a Masters in Public Health, board certification in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Because of this, she is very passionate about offering her patients the latest advancements in diabetes and thyroid care.

Dr. Ayyagari attended medical school at Sri Venkateswara Medical College in India, and received her Masters in Public Health from Western Kentucky University. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center through Drexel University.
