COOL CLEAR WATER (Sons Of The Pioneers)
When Bob Nolan, the Master of Cowboy Americana, was conjuring up this immortal image of an old prospector and Dan the mule (or of a lost and nameless rider and Dan, his horse) struggling in the blistering desert, tortured by mirages and the Devil himself, dreaming of heaven and calling out for "water, water, cool water", the water he was seeing in his mind's eye was Jesus.
"Cool Clear Water" is a salvation message.

Each star in the heavens can be thought of as a "pool of water" that points to Jesus Christ who is called in the bible, "living water"
Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”
