In the early 21st century Dizarh Architectural Studio was created, devoted to a cause that would bring both inner satisfaction to the architects and benefits to society. Dizarh agreed that their mission is to break stereotypes through fresh, different and bold approaches, expressed in aggressive, determined and memorable solutions. They believe that they can overcome established limits through a creative and innovative spirit. Despite the comparatively short history of the Studio, their projects have covered a wide range of serious architectural challenges - from small, elegant edifices for private clients to large public projects. They welcome these challenges in a new way - their way, that is - living and enjoying every step of this creative process they believe that they change and create new dimensions within their environment. The successful way in which they have realized and keep realizing their professional standards in Bulgaria has encouraged them to apply

Taking on a nautical theme, the developers say the 10 smaller towers represent sailing boats whilst the larger building is ‘the lighthouse’. it’s the lighthouse that steals the show for me, possibly the most incredible looking structure i’ve seen for a long time. if it ends up looking anything close to these pictures i’ll be impressed. Regatta's 10 apartment towers soar 24 storeys high with four units on each level. These are made up of two Ocean View units (type A & B, occupying 243 m2 each) and two Aqua Park View units (type C & D, occupying 206 m2 each).

Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames.

The Concept Regatta's development follows a nautical theme, the centrepiece of which being an aerodynamically shaped hotel b

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill has started construction on a 75-story helix-shaped tower in the Dubai Marina, one of the wealthy Emirate's prime residential neighborhoods. The "dancing" skyscraper, to be named Infinity Tower, will rotate 90 degrees as it rises while maintaining a constant floor-plate throughout its height. SOM Managing Partner George Efstathiou, AIA, predicts that the tower's winding shape will make it the marina's principal landmark, and perhaps a symbol of Dubai itself. According to Efstathiou, the building will offer its residents views of the waterfront without disrupting the vistas of neighboring buildings. The 995-foot-high tower will comprise 456 residential units, ranging from studios to full-floor penthouses. It will include a street-level shopping arcade, conference centers, lounges, a child-care center, a health spa, exercise facilities, and an outdoor pool. The structure will be constructed of cast-in-place high-strength con

Aedas designs the Empire Island Tower in Abu Dhabi

Empire Tower was challenged through a client request of not "pushing the limits" too far. The concern is that the residential project was located in the middle of a masterplan filled with potential icons. The design standardizes the units to accommodate the client request but manipulates the section to develop a very dynamic solution, which holds its own amidst the visual clutter of its neighbors. This was deemed important for the financial viability of this project that is dependent on presales within a very competitive market. The design maximizes the towers presence on the street with vertical layers spreading out to the property lines. The building then bends back away from the street across from a large commercial tower allowing for an enlarged view corridor between the central park of the community and the sea, one block away. The splayed vertical layers converge while rising up before bending forward together as the 230meter tower rises toward the sky and maximizing it

A new state of the art transport hub in Newport, designed by Atkins with architectural support from Grimshaw, is now complete as part of a city-wide regeneration masterplan. Atkins’ technical director Mike Otlet describes the challenges of working on such an innovative and ambitious project. Atkins’ multidisciplinary engineering design team was appointed back in 2006 to develop the design for two terminal buildings, accommodation blocks and a connecting foot bridge, as well as the external works for a landmark redevelopment of Newport station. As the principal consultant on the project, Atkins was engaged in providing civil and structural engineering, building services, landscape architecture, rail, telecoms and pedestrian flow expertise. The station architecture was sub-contracted to Grimshaw. The project’s ambitious brief required that a functional and welcoming station be developed, with a modern design to bring the city of Newport into the 21st ce
