We made the goal an hour ago and covered our debt with the bank and a bit left over. Thanks to all the generous people who contributed, it makes us tearful and glad that we have so many friends.
The $2125 is enough for a bit of a cushion as we know there is one more bill out there that may hit before we get other monies coming in at the end of the month.
We still have our ordinary January bills ahead of us, so if you want to contribute, here's the link again:

We're going to be asking for an extra bit for a few months to make sure we don't get our bills and income out of sync again.

That's the same as any small business owner.
balancing cash flow is the most stressful part of the job.
I'd try to have a word with the companies that submitted their bills early and you have paid and ask for a rebate because you paid early.
Then your bank should not have paid them early and caused you to suffer overdrafts. It that had happened to me when I ran my own software biz, I'd have been moving my bank the next day. It is their action that caused the overdraft charges not yours.
Anyway, I am glad that the crisis is over for this this year.Samantha

It's complicated, but we probably can get the bank to back out the overdraft charges after we paid things down.
