Memories and Songs
Unbelievable how certain songs trigger specific memories, where we were, what we were doing, the emotional highs and lows at that time, what was most important in our life at that time. When we have lived too long there are dozens upon dozens of songs tied into memories.
The Beach Boys Good Vibrations Where I was, who I was with, what I was doing. If I could have one Ground Hog Day over and over again, that would probably be it.
Sometimes, I think I have lived too long. No one has been more blessed than me and that's part of the problem.

I've been renewing my acquaintance with the instrumental works of Martin Denny (Quiet Village [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWlD2LWCDj4] ) from the 1940s and up. This leads back to Les Baxter, Mantovani, Ferrante & Teicher!, Billy Vaughn as well as other "Elevator Muzac". A starting point for these could be: "Dr. Hofmann's Electric Kool-aid Party" on You-tube.
