All I can say is that I am in awe of her. Montana is a very hostile state to trans and for her get elected in the first place is already a huge accomplishment but I am sure she knew going in this is going to create tsunami level waves.
The fact that she has been 'cancel cultured' and her rights as well as the constituents she is representing are being taken away just shows what the opposition is made of.

As you know, refusing entry
likely is against their State constitution since she's an elected official, and expulsion definitely denies her constituents representation.

For all the hostility of Montana, Missoula is the liberal hidey hole that most of the nation doesn't know exists. If anywhere was going to elect anyone that wasn't CIS Missoula was the place that would just to piss off the rest of the state. The being silenced won't stand and will start a shit show inside the state

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte has signed into law a bill banning gender-affirming care for transgender minors.
Gianforte, a Republican, signed the legislation Friday, and it is scheduled to take effect October 1, the Montana Free Press reports. He supported the measure over objections from his gay nonbinary son, David Gianforte.

It's one thing to be an ignorant bigot and quite another to place your political ambitions over your family.
One of my sons graduated from the University in Missoula. I spent some time climbing the hill over the campus. Missoula is quite liberal. An oasis in a sea of hatred.

Yep, I read up some on Missoula.
They are comparatively liberal but getting elected is still an accomplishment for her as well as the electorate.
They are all taking a stand and she had to know she will become the spearhead.
I have nothing but admiration for what they are doing.
I sincerely hope the electorate wakes up in those places. To deny justice for one is to deny justice for all. This goes far beyond unreasonable fears of loss of gun ownership (which would NEVER happen) or other fluff issues. We all deserve our basic human rights and those bastards who censored her is more than happy to take it away from anybody they do not agree with.
