Quarterly Certification

This form should be completed after you have registered for classes, or adjusted your schedule, and you are requesting to use your Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) – Education Benefits at Bellingham Technical College. By completing this form, you are requesting that Bellingham Technical College School Certifying Official certify your enrollment to the DVA for the quarter selected, or are requesting an adjustment to your current certification. The completed form will be automatically sent to BTC's School Certifying Official.

By selecting the box below, I am requesting certification or adjustment to my certification for the quarter and year selected above and I understand each item below:

  • DVA Education Benefits will not pay or a student to repeat a course, unless the course was not successfully passed. This includes courses successfully completed at another intuition.
  • DVA Education Benefits will not pay for online or hybrid remedial (below 100 level) courses.
  • Students who use DVA benefits are required to have all prior credits transferred and evaluated.
  • DVA Education Benefits will only pay for coursework that is required for your program of study.
  • Student is required to certify their attendance monthly to the DVA before they receive payment.
