생산물 linear alkylbenzene
적용 To produce linear alkylbenzne (LAB) from C10 to C14 linear paraffins by alkylating benzene with olefins made using the Pacol dehydrogenation and the DeFine selective hydrogenation processes.
설명 Description: The Pacol reactor (1) is a fixed-bed catalytic reactor that dehydrogenates the linear paraffin feed to the corresponding linear olefins. The reactor effluent is separated into gas and liquid phases in a separator (2). Diolefins in the Pacol liquid are selectively converted back to mono-olefins in the DeFine reactor (3). The DeFine reactor effluent is stripped (4) of light ends and sent to the alkylation reactor section (5), where this olefin-paraffin mixture is alkylated with benzene. The product from the reactor flows to the fractionation section (6) for separation and recycle of unreacted benzene to the reactor, while unreacted paraffins are separated (7) and recycled to the Pacol section. A final rerun column (8) separates the overhead LAB product from the heavy alkylate bottoms stream.

Yields: Based on 100 weight parts of LAB, approximately 79 parts of linear paraffins and 33 parts of benzene are charged to the process. The LAB product has a typical Bromine Index of less than 15 and is 99% sulfonatable.
