원료 Syngas; Propylene
생산물 n-butyraldehyde
적용 The process is suitable for the production of n-butyraldehyde from propylene and syngas (carbon monoxide/hydrogen).
설명 Description: Propylene reacts with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a water-soluble rhodium complex forming n-butyraldehyde and a small amount of isobutyraldehyde. The catalyst is separated from the oxo raw product and recycled to the reactor.
By stripping the oxo product with fresh syngas the unconverted propylene is removed from the product and recycled to the oxo reactor.
In a one-stage distillation n- and isobutyraldehyde are obtained.

Yields: Per 1,000 kg propylene (100%), 1,613 kg n-butyraldehyde and 85 kg isobutyraldehyde are obtained.
