제목 Versatile Sensor Applications of Chiral Supramolecular Biocoordination Polymers
초록 Chiral supramolecular structures have a great potential to be used in chiral recognition, sensing, and catalysis. Here, we fabricated the novel homochiral and heterochiral biocoordination polymers (BCPs) between chiral organic ligands and Zn ions by using solvothermal reactions. In the heterochiral BCPs, we can observe a chiral self-discrimination phenomenon. Remarkably, they have multifunctional properties such as photochromatic, photoluminescent, and chemiresistive characteristics for versatile sensors. For instance, these materials can be used for detecting harzardous amines due to electron transfer from the amine to the BCPs. In addition, they can enantioselectively sense a chiral naproxen based on the different binding energies with regard to their chirality. All of these approaches provide novel ways of synthesises and applications of the BCPs
