제목 Effect of reaction conditions on slurry phase hydrocracking of SDA pitch
초록 The solvent deasphalting (SDA) pitchis considered a refractory feedstock in upgrading heavy oil due to itsrich-asphaltenes content and high coking tendency. To discover the optimumconditions for hydrotreating SDA pitch, a hydrocracking reaction has beenproceeded using Mo-octoate at different concentrations (0-1000 ppm) in H 2 pressures of 70-130 bar. Coke formation is inevitable in this reaction.However, in the presence of the catalyst, the coke formation has been delayed.Higher catalyst concentration reduced more coke and increased the quality ofproducts. Above 110 bar of hydrogen pressure, the coke formation was undercontrol, hydrodesulfurization (HDS) was enhanced, and liquid products becamemore aliphatic. Overall, using sufficient hydrogen and catalyst concentrationwas expected to suppress coke formation and improve the product quality inslurry phase hydrocracking SDA pitch.
