제목 Complex Micelle Based on Double Hydrophilic Block Copolymer and Nanoparticle Application
초록 Most block copolymer self-assembly approaches rely on the use of entirely hydrophobic or amphiphilic block copolymers, forming various micellar structures in solution and inevitably necessitating the use of organic solvents for synthesis and subsequent utilization. Here, we show double hydrophilic block copolymers (DHBCs), which consist of two chemically distinct segments with hydrophilic features. These DHBCs dissolve readily in water to form molecularly dissolved solutions but induce potentially useful micellar aggregates with inorganic materials through polyion complexation in aqueous solution. In this presentation, the complex micelles formed by inorganic metal ions and DHBCs, will be introduced, and the effect of the conditions of DHBCs and metal ions on the complex micelles will be presented. Additionally, as these complex micellar structures are useful for synthesis of various metal nanoparticle, we have demonstrated that the stability, structure, and intrinsic properties of nanoparticles can be tunable by utilizing each block of DHBCs.
