제목 Laser direct patterning using combination of photocurable polymer and liquid metal for flexible electrodes
초록 One of the important challenges for flexible and soft future devices is the development of flexible electrodes. Liquid metal has high conductivity and liquid flow characteristics, so it can give and maximize flexibility and elasticity to the device. To date, conductive patterning using liquid metal requires multiple complicated procedures, so there is a need to simplify the method. Here, we propose a direct patterning method using a pulsed laser based on a hybrid material in which polyurethane acrylate (PUA), a photocurable polymer, and liquid metal nanoparticles are combined. Liquid metal contributes to excellent conductivity and durability by its properties, and a photosensitizer that responds to laser light induces patterning on the substrate. In this way, we applied the flexible polymer substrate to improve the process window according to the laser parameters, and demonstrated the stability and durability of the electrode through mechanical folding tests.
