Add captions to your Page's video on Facebook
Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience
. You’ll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.
You can add captions to your Page's video to make it accessible to a broader audience. You can automatically generate captions and edit them, write them yourself or you can upload a SubRip (.srt) file

Add captions to your Page's video

Click What's on your mind, [Name]?
at the top of your feed, then click

and select a video from your computer.

Once your video has uploaded, click Video Options
on the video thumbnail.

Click Add Captions
on the left, then select whether you'd like to auto-generate captions or upload a SubRip (.srt) file.

Click Save
, then click Post

If you choose to upload a .srt file, make sure that your caption files are correctly named
and formatted before
you upload them.
To add captions to an existing video on your Page, find the post on your Page's timeline, click 
in the top-right corner, select Edit Post
and follow the steps above.
