How do I edit or remove the location on a Facebook post or photo?

You can only edit or remove a location on your own post or photo.
To edit the location on your post:
1.
Go to the post.
2.
In the top right of the post, tap and select Edit post .
3.
At the bottom of your screen, tap .
4.
Search for and select a new location. You may need to first remove the current location by tapping to the right of the location name.
5.
In the top right, tap Save .
To remove the location on your post:
1.
Go to the post.
2.
In the top right of the post, tap and select Edit post .
3.
At the bottom of your screen, tap .
4.
Below Currently Selected , tap to next to the location name to remove it.
5.
Tap Done in the top right.
6.
Tap Save .
Note: To stop posts from automatically including your location, go to your phone's settings and turn off Location Services.
To edit or remove the location on your photo:
1.
Tap in the bottom right of Facebook, then tap your name.
2.
Tap Photos , then find and tap the photo you want to update.
3.
Tap in the top right. From here, you can:
Remove the location: Below Currently Selected , tap next to the location name.
Edit the location: At the top, Search for a new location and select a result.
Your selection will save automatically.
