If you're getting push notifications even though you've turned them off, it's probably because you recently updated your Facebook app. You may need toturn push notifications offagain.

If you're having issues with email notifications:
Try these stepsif you can't find your Facebook signup confirmation email.
Check youremail notification settingsto make sure that you haven't turned off email notifications.
Check your spam or junk email filter to make sure that emails coming from Facebook aren't being placed in this folder. If they are, add the@facebookmail.comemail domain to your email account's safe senders list.
If you're still not receiving emails from Facebook, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to ensure that they aren't blocking email traffic coming from Facebook.

If you're receiving email or text notifications about a Facebook account that doesn't belong to you, it’s possible that someone tried to add your email or mobile phone number to an account, or create a new account using your email or mobile phone number.
If someone has successfully created an account using your email,fill out this form.
To stop receiving notifications from your email, you can:
Add youremailto your account. This will remove the email from any other accounts it’s associated with.
Click theUnsubscribelink at the bottom of any of the emails.

If you recently moved your mobile phone number from a different mobile service provider, you may not be able to receive the confirmation code.
If you haven’t recently moved your number, try these tips:
Contact your mobile service provider to make sure you're sending a text message (SMS) to theright number.
Remove any signatures at the end of your text messages (SMS) which can interfere with Facebook getting those messages.
Try sendingOnorFbto 32665 (FBOOK).
Wait 24 hours in case there's a delivery delay.

If your country or carrier isn't listed in the dropdown menu in the first step of the activation process, you won't be able to activate texts (SMS).
The list you see when you try to activate Facebook texts shows the countries and carriers that we have a mobile partnership with.
Note: You can still add a mobile number to your account from yourmobile settings, even if you can't activate Facebook texts.
