How do I check into a nearby location on Facebook?
To check into a nearby location:

Scroll to the top of your Feed and tap What's on your mind?

and search for a nearby location or tap any location from the list below to select a location.

When you check in, you can also do things like:
Photo/Video:
Add a photo or video to your post. Feeling/Activity:

Write an optional status update by tapping the text below your profile picture.

Tap POST

Note: If the post you're tagged in is shared with Public, then the people who manage the location's Page will be able to see it. If the post is shared with an audience other than Public, then the post isn't shared with the Page's managers.
