Like or follow a Facebook Page
Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience
. You’ll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.
If you want to get updates from a Page in your Feed, you can follow it.
If you want to show support for a Page, you can like it. When you like a Page, you automatically follow it, which means you will see updates from it in your Feed. You also have the option to unfollow a Page, which means you will not see updates in your Feed.
Some Pages that previously had a Like
button may now only have a Follow
button. In these cases:
If you previously liked and followed a Page, you’ll still be following that Page.
If you previously liked a Page, but didn’t follow the Page, your connection with that Page was removed.
To like a Page:
1.
Go to the Page.
2.
Tap
Like
below the Page's cover photo. If you don't see it, tap
and then tap Like
.
When you like a Page, you automatically follow it, which means that you may see updates from that Page in your Feed.
To see the Pages you like:
1.
Go to your profile or Page.
2.
Tap About
or See your About info
.
3.
Scroll down to Likes
.
Pages you like are listed in the About
section of your profile or Page below Likes
. A post that you liked on a Page may appear in your Feed. You may be displayed on the Page you liked or in ads about that Page.
To follow a Page:
1.
Go to the Page.
2.
Tap
then tap Follow
.
When you follow a Page, you may see updates from that Page in your Feed.
To see the Pages you follow:
1.
Go to your profile or Page.
2.
Tap About
or See your About info
. You may also need to tap See All About
.
3.
Scroll down to Following
.

Go to the Page by tapping its name in your Feed or searching for it.
2.
Below the Page's cover photo, tap
Liked

Tag people or Pages in photos on Facebook
You can tag people or Pages in photos you share on Facebook. You can also tag photos others have shared, if their privacy settings allow it.
Tag a photo before you post it:
1.
At the top of your Feed, tap Photo
.
2.
Select a photo from your camera roll and tap Next
or Done
. You can also tap
to take a new photo using the camera
, then tap
or Next
.
3.
Tap
Tag Friends
.
4.
Type their name in the text box, then tap the check box next to their profile picture.When you're finished tagging, tap Done
.
5.
Tap Post
.
Tag a photo that has already been posted:
1.
Go to the photo and tap
in the top right.
2.
Type their name in the text box, then tap the check box next to their profile picture.
3.
When you're finished tagging, tap Done
.
Keep in mind:
You can tag up to 50 people or Pages in a photo.
When you tag someone in a photo, that person's friends may also see, like or comment on the photo.
Your tag may need to be approved by the person you tagged or the person who posted the photo (if it is not yours), depending on their privacy settings for Timeline Review

You may not see the option to tag people in photos posted by others, depending on their audience settings

Facebook Pages are public spaces. Anyone who can see the Page can see your post or comment. When you post or comment on a Page, a story can be published in Feed and other places on Facebook.
You can only post on Pages that have allowed visitor posts.
To post on a Page that you visit:
1.
Tap
in the top right of Facebook.
2.
Search for the Page you'd like to post on, then select it from the dropdown menu.
3.
Tap Posts
, then tap Write something on the Page
.
4.
Write your post, then tap Publish
.

You can only send a private message to Pages that have turned on messaging. To send a private message to a Page:
1.
Tap
at the top of Facebook and enter the name of the Page you want to message. Tap the Page in the search results to go to it.
2.
Tap Send Message

below the Page's cover photo.
3.
Enter your message and tap Send
.
If you don't see the option to message a Page, it means the Page has turned off this feature. To contact a Page with messages turned off, you may be able to post on the Page
.
Please keep in mind that Pages, including Pages operated by Facebook, may use apps or automated messaging bots to power their chat experiences using Messenger Platform.

You can make donations from a post published by the charitable organization's Facebook Page or shared by someone who donated.

Scroll down to the Fundraisers
section, then tap a fundraiser.

Tap Donate

We store your payment information securely after you enter it for the first time. This allows you to make future donations without having to re-enter your information. You can remove or manage this information by going to your Facebook payment settings
.

A donation made to PayPal Giving Fund to support a nonprofit through its Facebook Page or a fundraiser on Facebook may be tax-deductible. Since tax laws vary by country and region, you should consult a tax professional or review the laws for your area to determine whether a donation is tax-deductible.
After you make a donation, you will receive an official donation receipt from PayPal Giving Fund directly to your email. This receipt shows that you've made this donation as a charitable contribution and that you're not receiving any goods or services in return.
Note
: Meta will only provide a confirmation for donations which does not act as an official donation receipt that can be used for tax purposes. Donors can find donation confirmations by going to Orders and Payments in the Settings menu.

Manage the About section of your Facebook profile
Your About section of your profile helps you share what you care about with others, such as movies or books you've added, stories from apps and games you use and things you've liked. Learn how to update the About section
of your profile.
If someone is in the audience of things you've added or the audience of stories shared by apps and games, they can see that stuff. From Facebook on a computer, you can edit the privacy of each section or you can choose to hide a section entirely.
Adding information to your profile's About section
You can like a Page for music, books, TV shows, movies, apps and games, or video games to add it to the About section of your profile. To remove something you’ve liked from your About section, you can unlike the Page.
Some apps can add things to your About sections based on your in-app activity (example: some music streaming apps).
Keep in mind that when you share something on your timeline, the audience you choose can also see it in other places on Facebook, such as in Feed and search.
Note
: Log into Facebook from a computer to add or hide sections and choose an audience for the things you've liked.

Go to the Page you want to report by tapping its name in your Feed or searching for it.

Tap
at the top of the Page.

and then tap the option that best describes how this post goes against our Community Standards
.
4.
To give feedback, tap the option that best describes how this Page goes against our Community Standards.
5.
Depending on your feedback, you may then be able to submit a report to Meta. For some types of content, we don't ask you to submit a report, but we use your feedback to help our systems learn.
If you can't access the Page you want to report, consider asking a friend to report it.
