How do I add a background to my text post on Facebook?
You can add a background to text posts made from your timeline, Feed, or a group. At this time, you can't add a background to posts you make on a Page.
Backgrounds allow you to customize text-only posts with various designs and colors.
To add a background to your text post:

Tap What's on your mind?
or Write something...
at the top of your timeline, Feed, or in a group.

Select a colored square to choose a background color for your text.
3.
Add your text, then tap Post
.
Keep in mind that if you add a photo, video or link to your post, you won't be able to add a background.
