Turn notifications on or off for a Facebook group
When you join a Facebook group, the default notification setting will be set to Highlights
, but you can change the setting or turn off all notifications for that group.
Choose what you're notified about in a Facebook group

Tap 
in the top right of Facebook, then tap Groups
and select your group.

Tap the name of the group, then tap Notifications
.
From here, you can select:
In-app notifications
All Posts
: You'll get notifications any time someone posts in the group.
Highlights
: You'll get notifications for suggested posts and posts from your friends.
Friends' Posts
: You'll get notifications whenever your friends post.
Off
: You won't get notifications when anyone posts.
Push notifications
Member request notifications
Batch mentions
(Note: Notification settings for batch mentions in groups
, which is when @everyone is tagged, is only available from the Facebook app for iPhone or Android)
