Add Facebook widgets to your iPhone's lock screen
To access lock screen widgets from Facebook, you must have the Facebook app installed and your device must have iOS 16 or greater.
You can add widgets from Facebook to your iPhone's lock screen. You can quickly see content that matters to you by adding the appropriate widget. You can add both lock screen widgets
and home screen widgets to your iPhone.
Note: You can’t add widgets to your default lock screen. You need to create a new lock screen to add widgets to.

How do I add a lock screen widget?
1.
On your phone, with the phone locked, tap and hold on your lock screen.
2.
Once Unlock to edit
appears, tap and hold on your lock screen again.
3.
Unlock your phone.
4.
If you haven’t made a new lock screen, tap +
. Follow the onscreen instructions to create a lock screen. If you make a new lock screen, skip the next step.

Swipe left and right to select the lock screen you’d like to add widgets to. Tap Customize
.

Tap + Add Widgets

Swipe left and right to select the widget you’d like to add.

Tap the widget to add it. If there’s multiple sizes for the widget, tap the size you’d like to add.

Tap off of the widgets area to close it, then tap Done

How do I remove a lock screen widget?
1.
On your phone, with the phone locked, tap and hold on your lock screen.
2.

appears, tap and hold on your lock screen again.

Unlock your phone.

Swipe left and right to select the lock screen you’d like to remove widgets from. Tap Customize
.

Tap on the widgets area.

Tap off of the widgets area to close it, then tap Done
