If you're receiving email or text notifications about a Facebook account that doesn't belong to you, it’s possible that someone tried to add your email or mobile phone number to an account, or create a new account using your email or mobile phone number.
If someone has successfully created an account using your email, fill out this form.
To stop receiving notifications from your email, you can:
Add your email to your account. This will remove the email from any other accounts it’s associated with.
Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of the emails.
To stop receiving notifications on your phone, you can:
Remove your phone number from your Facebook account. Learn how to remove the mobile phone number or add another to your account.
Reply STOP directly to the text message (SMS). You may also be able to stop receiving text notifications for all accounts by sending STOP to one of the codes listed below.
