Manage whether Pages can privately reply to comments in a Facebook group you manage

This feature is only available in some public groups and for some Pages for now. It isn’t available in private groups.
Facebook group admins can choose whether Facebook Pages can privately reply through Messenger to comments on their posts. For example, if a restaurant Page posts in a neighborhood group that allows private Page replies, the Page could message anyone who comments on that post.
Allow or don’t allow private replies from Pages in a group you manage
1.
Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
2.
From the group, click Group settings in the left menu. You might have to click Manage first.
3.
Scroll down to Manage discussion .
4.
Click next to Private replies .
5.
Select On or Off .
6.
Click Save .
If you don’t see this setting, it may be because this feature isn’t available in your group.
Note that even if admins allow private Page replies:
People in the group can still block Page messages or report a conversation .
Pages can only privately reply to comments made within the last 7 days.
Pages can’t privately reply to other Pages.
Admins can turn off private Page replies at any time.
Some Pages might not have access to this feature.
