Manage anonymous posts in a Facebook group you admin
If you don’t see the option to allow anonymous posts in your group, it could be because anonymous posts aren’t available in your group for now.
If some members can’t post anonymously, it could be because anonymous posts aren’t available to them for now.
If you’re a group admin, you can choose whether or not to allow anonymous posts
if the option is available in your group. People will be able to request to post anonymously in the group unless an admin turns off anonymous posts for the group.
You can also choose to require anonymous posts and post edits to be approved by admins or moderators, even if you don’t have post approval
turned on in your group.
Turn anonymous posting on or off

From your group, tap

and select Anonymous posting

Toggle People can submit anonymous posts in this group

Tap Save

Require approval of anonymous posts and post edits

Scroll down to Manage discussion
and select Anonymous posting

Toggle Anonymous posts and post edits will be reviewed and approved by admins or moderators before they’re published
. This will already be enabled if post approval is already turned on in your group. If you don’t see this option, make sure you’ve toggled People can submit anonymous posts in this group

If someone posts anonymously, their name and profile picture will still be visible to the group’s admins and moderators, as well as to Facebook, in order to help keep groups safe and in compliance with our Community Standards
