Information available to download from your Facebook profile
When you Download your information
from Facebook, you have options on how much information you want to download.
The two options are
Available information
and
Specific types of information
.
Available information
are files that include information and activity for the accounts and profiles you selected but won’t include data logs.
Specific types of information
includes all of the files in Available information
as well as data logs. This selection also allows you to select only certain types of information for download, such as photos, messages or data logs.
Data logs
Data logs are additional details we collect and store that can be associated with you. This data can be unique but it can also be additional details about information already provided in your profile and account downloads. It can include things like:
Your logged interactions, including things you’ve viewed or clicked on
Information that supports the use of Facebook, such as device information and third party apps or websites you have logged into using your Facebook login.
If you’d like to download data logs, select Specific types of information
when you are downloading your information
from your main profile. Data logs will be a separate download from your profile information because they take longer to prepare. You will get a notification when they are ready to download. It may take up to 15 days to get data logs. They won’t delay the other information you request, which is typically ready in a few hours.
