The Windows Facebook Notification Widget is only available on a computer.
Windows widgets are small cards that display personalized content such as news, weather, and traffic updates on your computer. They can be deleted, rearranged, pinned, and customized to reflect your interests.

About the Windows Facebook Notification Widget
The Windows Facebook Notification Widget can be customized in a few different ways. It has a light and dark mode, and can be set to small, medium, or large. Each size shows a different number of notifications.
Generally, the widget will notify you of things such as Feed posts, messages, and other types of notifications. Clicking on the notification takes you directly to the post or message.
To use the Facebook notification widget, you’ll need to update your computer to Windows 11. Learn more about how to install Windows 11

Install the Windows Facebook Notification Widget
1.
Install the Facebook app onto your computer if you haven’t already. You can download the Facebook app for Windows from the Microsoft Store

Once installed, click the widget icon on your taskbar.
Note
: If you don’t know what the widget icon is, it’s usually the part of your taskbar displaying the weather, stock prices, or other news updates.

Click +
in the upper right corner.

Under Add Widgets
, click +
next to Facebook
in the list of options.
The Facebook Notification Widget will only send you notifications if you’re logged into your Facebook account on the Windows Facebook app. If you’re not signed in, the Notification Widget will prompt you to.
