Add and switch between multiple Instagram accounts

When you add multiple Instagram accounts, you can switch between them without having to log out and log back in.
To add multiple Instagram accounts
1.
Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap your username at the top of the screen.
3.
Tap Log into an Existing Account
.
4.
Enter the username and password of the account you'd like to add.
5.
Tap Log In
.
To switch between accounts you've added
1.
Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap your username at the top of the screen.
3.
Tap the account you'd like to switch to.
Keep in mind that you can add up to 5 accounts.

Not everyone will be able to remove an account from the login screen at this time
You can only be logged into a single Instagram account at a time, but your device can store login information for multiple Instagram accounts. You can add or remove login information from your Instagram app settings.
The accounts you see as available to log into may appear because:

The account was recently logged into on the same device.

You have multiple accounts added to the same Accounts Center, and these accounts are able to log into each other.

You use an Android phone and you’re logged into a Google account that is associated with any Facebook or Instagram accounts you have.
Logging in with a saved account allows you to log in easily with one tap, instead of entering your email or mobile phone number and password. In some cases, you may still need to enter your password. You can remove saved accounts that appear on the login screen at any time.
Add or remove Instagram login information on your iPhone or Android device:
1.
Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap
in the top right.
3.
Scroll down to Logins
.
4.
Tap Add Account
to add login information for a new Instagram account or Log out [username]
to remove login information for the Instagram account you're currently logged into.
Remove an account from the login screen on your phone:
1.
Go to the login screen on the Instagram app.
2.
On the top right of the screen tap
.
3.
Select the account you’d like to remove.
4.
Tap Remove account
.
Note: Removing login information only removes the account from your iPhone or Android device and will not temporarily deactivate
or permanently delete
the Instagram account.
Sharing Across Other Social Networks

When you add your Instagram account to the same Accounts Center as your Facebook account, you can share content like stories and posts directly from Instagram to Facebook.
You can link multiple accounts to one Facebook profile.
Add your Instagram or Facebook account to an Accounts Center
1.
Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap
in the top right.
3.
At the top, tap Accounts Center
.
4.
At the bottom, tap Accounts
, then tap Add accounts
.
5.
Tap Add Facebook account
or Add Instagram account
and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you add your accounts to the same Accounts Center, you'll have the option to share a post to Facebook from the same screen where you add a caption.

To disconnect your Instagram and Facebook accounts
, visit Accounts Center.
To unlink your Instagram account and stop sharing your Instagram posts to another social network such as Facebook:
1.
Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap
in the top right.
3.
Tap Account
.
4.
Tap Sharing to Other Apps
, then tap the social network you'd like to unlink.
5.
Tap Unlink Account
(iOS) or Unlink
(Android).
6.
Tap Yes, I'm sure
.
If you're trying to relink Instagram to a social network, you may have to visit that social network’s app settings or preferences to unlink your previous account.

Classic Pages on Facebook are updating to the new Pages experience
. You’ll still have access to many of the same features to manage your professional presence, build your brand or business, grow your audience and connect with followers. Your content, insights, ads, Likes and followers will automatically transfer when your Page updates.
When you switch to a professional account on Instagram, you'll be asked if you'd like to connect a Facebook Page. While it's not required, we recommend connecting your business Facebook Page with Instagram to get the most out of Instagram's business tools.

You can also change the Facebook Page that's connected to your Instagram professional account at any time. The following instructions will guide you through how to add or change the Facebook Page connected to your Instagram professional account.

You must switch to a professional account on Instagram
to link to a Facebook Page (if the Facebook Page is owned in Meta Business Manager).

You must have Facebook access to the Page. Learn more about Page access in the new Pages experience

How to connect a Facebook Page to your professional account
To add or change the Facebook Page that is connected to your Instagram professional account:
1.
Go to your Instagram profile.
2.
Select Edit profile

3.
Under Public business information
, select Page
.
4.
Tap Create Facebook Page
or Connect an existing Page.
5.
Choose a Page from your Pages that you'd like to connect to or select Create a new Facebook Page
.
6.
Tap Done
after you've selected a Page or created a new Page.
Your professional account is now connected to a Facebook Page. If the Page you'd like to connect is not showing in the drop down from your profile, it may be because you don't have Facebook access to that Page. Check your Page's settings and make sure you have permission to add that Page to your Instagram professional account.

Share a photo you've previously uploaded on Instagram to another site
1.
Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
2.
Tap the post you'd like to share.
3.
Tap
in the top right.
4.
Tap Share to...
5.
Tap Share to Facebook
, Share to Twitter
or Share to Messenger
. You can also choose Share via Email
, QR code
or Copy Link
.
Keep in mind that if you haven't previously linked your Instagram account to that site or service, you'll be prompted to log in. Once you've linked your Instagram account to that account, the icon for that site will turn blue.

If someone with a private profile shares a photo or video to a social network (like Twitter, Facebook and so on) using Instagram, the image will be visible on that network and the permalink will be active. In other words, the photo will be publicly accessible by anyone who has access to its direct link/URL.
Keep in mind that sharing a photo or video to a social network doesn't mean that the image will be visible in Instagram. Your account will still appear private to those who aren't approved followers.
What can I see when someone on Facebook interacts with my Instagram content?
When you share content to Facebook (example: stories, posts), you may see things such as likes, views, comments and reactions from Facebook accounts.
