Rustic Christmas Wreath Tutorial

There’s those craft blogger out there that you might look at and think they really have their stuff together. I am so not one of them. This wreath was originally supposed to be a fall wreath with pumpkins instead of ornaments but I never got around to putting it together so it just sat in my craft room for the past few months. Then I knew I wanted to post this today but I kept putting off making it until I had to do it today when it was dark and rainy. For those of you that don’t understand photography (like myself) dark and rainy is hard to take good pictures in. So let’s all pretend for a few minutes that I actually know what I’m doing and gaze admiringly at this Rustic Christmas Wreath. It’s very simple to make which is required when you have a stir crazy two year old. All you need is a grapevine wreath, Spanish Moss, hot glue gun, burlap or burlap ribbon, and ornaments. Wonderful picture huh? I’m going to work on my focus next week until then, bear with me. (and by next week I mean sometime in 2012) Grab several clumps of spanish moss and lay it out on the bottom half of the wreath until you like how it looks. Don’t get all fancy now, it’s “rustic”. When you like it just glue all the clumps down using a lot of glue or the moss will come loose. Now take your ornaments and lay them out to how you would like them to go. When you get ready to glue them down, make a little nest in the moss first so they fit inside the moss. After all the ornaments are glued on you just need to tie a big bow on top using burlap or burlap ribbon and you are ready to hang. It’s a pretty but simple Rustic Christmas Wreath.

In reply to Nickiwoo Thehomeguru .

thanks Nicki. I don’t know how to pin from my phone either. I love browsing Pinterest but I’m really bad about “pinning”. It’s so simple but you know I get confused.
