You just received an email that says you won the "EUROPEAN SWEEPSTAKES PROMOTION".
Don't get too excited. It's just a scam.
A legitimate lottery certainly would not use free hotmail, yahoo, elitist, or aim email accounts. Note the other clues to an obvious fraud that we have highlighted in the letter; keep confidential, heck this one doesn't even say how you won. Kind of odd, since you never heard of them and didn't buy a ticket or fill out a form, isn't it?
