DSR Fishing Report for 23 May 2026:
REPORT:
Our angler density was low and fishing activity quiet with only a few fall fish brought to hand by a couple of guests.
Pictured below is a group of our River Patrol that assisted DSR with planting Willows, Alders, and Sycamores in the stream restoration areas of the Upper Clay and Meadow Run.
WEATHER / CFS:
At the time of this report the current dam release is 200 CFS, scheduled through 11:59 PM this evening. The flow from the Pineville gauge is at 286 CFS.
Tonight: Rain. Low 47F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a half an inch. Locally heavy rainfall possible.
Tomorrow: Cloudy with occasional rain...mainly in the morning. High around 60F. Winds SE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Balance payments for all categories of seasons passes will be due by June 26, 2026.
As part of an After-Action-Review of last season that identified best-practices moving forward, guests are requested to check out when they leave the property. This will enhance angler safety and our efforts to more accurately manage angler density on the run so as to not exceed angler limits. Check-out may be as simple as stating “Season Pass Holder (last name) leaving for the day!” or calling the Welcome Center to share “Party of four under (last name) leaving for the day!”.
