Dirty Habit, San Francisco’s sultry bar and restaurant, known for its expansive heated outdoor terrace and inventive culinary and craft cocktail experience, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Marshall to the position of lead bartender.
Marshall brings over seven years of experience as a distinguished cocktail craftsman with him to his new role. In this position, he will be responsible for curating exotic cocktails showcasing Dirty Habit’s rare brown spirits collection. He will also oversee the training, development, and management of bar staff, ensure that operations run smoothly, manage inventory and more.

Marshall’s love of food and drink brought him from California’s Central Valley to San Francisco in 2010. His hospitality career began as a chef, and he originally pursued an education at the California Culinary Academy. His education led to an internship at San Francisco’s French restaurant, Café Des Amis, where he learned critical skills that led to various restaurant jobs in the Sacramento area. He moved back to San Francisco in 2015. At that time, Marshall discovered his love for curating craft cocktails. Over the years, he has developed a signature style, infusing traditional cocktails with unique and modern ingredients. He finds inspiration for his creations through art, literature, and pop culture.
