Grenada is positioning marine tourism at the centre of its 2026 visitor strategy with a packed calendar of sailing, sportfishing and heritage events, according to the Grenada Tourism Authority.
The season will feature major international regattas, cruising rallies and traditional competitions across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Headlining the calendar is the Pure Grenada Billfish Tournament, scheduled for January 25–30, marking the first year the destination brand serves as title sponsor of the long-running sportfishing event. G
Renada Sailing Week will run concurrently, with opening activities in Carriacou, followed by the Workboat Regatta, celebrating traditional boat racing.
February will see the arrival of the Vikings Explorer Rally, bringing extended-stay cruisers. Officials say the programme reflects coordinated, long-term development of the nautical sector.
