The integration of ITA Airways into the Lufthansa Group continues to advance significantly. Members of the Miles & More program now have the opportunity to earn Points towards their frequent flyer status on ITA Airways flights, in addition to the miles they currently accumulate. This enhancement, which includes Points, Qualifying Points, and—specifically for Business Class travelers—HON Circle Points, provides members with greater avenues to achieve or maintain frequent flyer status within the Lufthansa Group. The Points awarded for ITA Airways flights will follow the same structure as that applied to the other airlines within the Lufthansa Group and its partnered co-issuing Miles & More airlines.
Since joining the Lufthansa Group on January 17, 2025, ITA Airways has offered numerous benefits and improvements for its passengers. Furthermore, participants in the Volare frequent flyer program, managed by ITA Airways, are now able to earn and redeem Volare Points across Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.
