SAS and Aeromexico have announced a new codeshare agreement that will take effect on December 1, 2025, expanding travel options between Mexico and Scandinavia. The partnership enables SAS customers to reach Mexico City International Airport (MEX) via major U.S. and Canadian gateways, including San Francisco, Boston, Newark, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Washington D.C., and Toronto. At the same time, Aeromexico passengers will gain simplified access to SAS destinations across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Travelers will benefit from single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, offering smoother transfers across the combined networks. Members of SAS EuroBonus and Aeromexico Rewards will also enjoy reciprocal SkyTeam privileges, such as earning and redeeming miles, lounge access, and priority services.
The agreement enhances connectivity across two continents and reflects SAS’ ongoing strategy to strengthen global partnerships. It follows recent collaborations with Vietnam Airlines and WestJet that aim to broaden network reach and improve loyalty offerings for customers worldwide.
