A class 3 Cyclon warning for tropical cyclone Berguitta is now in force in Mauritius. The tropical cyclone ‘BERGUITTA’ is moving in a West-South-Westerly direction at a speed of 7 km/h.
Tropical StormBerguittais strengthening and is forecast to pass close to Mauritius and Reunion over the next few days. The potential is for damaging winds and flooding rains.
Please note that for safety reason, the airport in Mauritius is closed and all flights have been canceled for today.
