This is Bodhi-tei stairs (287 steps, height 104m).
This is the speciality of Kuon-ji Temple.
You can climb the steep slope by the cable car nearby, but you should challenge to go up these stairs.
Surely, it will become a good memory.
When you finish going up Bodhi-tei stairs, you will be greeted by the five-story pagoda.
Most of the cherry trees in the precincts are greatly powerful.
From the precinct, you can see the beautiful scenery like the Shangri-la.
The surrounding area has many temple lodging and Tatchu temples which are covered with beautiful cherry blossoms.
