今日のお題は、「You're a lifesaver.」です。親しいネイティブの友人からお礼を言われました。少し大げさかなと思いましたが、悪い気はしませんでした。やはり、ネイティブの方は、感情表現が日本人と比べると少し大げさかなと思うことが多々あります。
「本当にありがとう。あなたは、私の恩人よ」、恐縮してしまいます。
