Fukushima's secret hot spring, Minamiaizu "Yunohana Onsen", a tour of the four source-flowing communal baths (two are mixed bathing)
I went to "Yunohana Onsen"in Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture in early May. It was.
Yunohana Hot spring is very close to Oze, about 10 minutes by car from the famous "Tokusa Hot spring".
It is also about an hour's drive from Shiobara Hot spring, and on the way it is a refreshing plateau road that passes through the birch forest.
Yunohana Hot spring is also famous for mountain stream fishing, and a regular guest for fishing was staying at a guest house called San raku, which I stayed.
Yunohana Hot spring has a total of four communal baths.
Neither has an open-air bath, but all are fed directly from the source. In addition, "Ishiyu" and "Tenjin no Yu" are mixed baths.
The temperature of Yunohana Onsen is very high, and you cannot take a bath as it is, so you have to add water.
Even if I added water, it was still a wonderful hot spring and I was very satisfied.
The most distinctive of the four communal baths is probably "Ishiyu".
It is said that a part of a huge rock appears in the bathhouse, so please watch this video to see what is actually happening.
Yunohana Hot spring is a very natural place surrounded by the mountains of Aizu, and you can enjoy a very calm and wonderful view.
Please visit here.
I am sure you will be satisfied.

The open-air bath at Tokusa Onsen, a secret hot spring, was the best / Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture
I went to the Tokusa Hot spring
communal bath, which is a secret hot spring in Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, which is very well known to hot spring fans.
This is a mixed bathing open-air bath that flows directly from the source, and you can enter it 24 hours a day.
There used to be a roof above the open-air bath, but it was washed away and now there are only two stone baths.
The hot water is colorless and transparent. I smelled a little sulfur.
Since no trash is floating, you can take a bath very comfortably.
Please come and visit us.
I really recommend this hot spring.

Original scenery of Japan "Maezawa Magariya Village" (On the way to Tokusa and Yunohana Hot spring in South Aizu from Shiobara Hot spring resort)
Do you know "Magariya"
?
"Magariya" is one of the architectural styles of traditional houses (private houses), and refers to L-shaped flat houses as opposed to rectangular flat straight houses (Sugoya). The interior consists of a livestock breeding space, a work / storage space, and a living space.
Maezawa Magariya Village, located in South Aizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture Japan, is a village that still retains the original scenery of Japanese agricultural and mountain villages. In 1907, a large fire struck that almost all the houses in the village disappeared, and then the same carpenter group in the surrounding area built each house at one time, creating a unified landscape. In June 2011, it was designated as a national "Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District" for this unified landscape protection.
There are 20 traditional houses in the village, including 13 Magariyas, and people still live here.
In addition, there are old folk house cafe "Irori", soba restaurant "Magariya", "Maezawa Magariya Museum", watermill, iris garden, etc., and you can enjoy the nostalgic scenery of Japan slowly.
Please stop by when you visit from Shiobara Onsen, to Minamiaizu Town's Tokusa Hot spring, Yunohana Hot spring, or even Oze in Hinoemata Village. It's a really great place.
