We want to shine a spotlight on Jovina A. and Victoria Y. for publishing “Hear That, Squiggle Squiggle” in June of 2025! 

This book follows a young boy navigating life with hearing loss. Book sales, coupled with their nonprofit fundraising through ImagineHere, allowed them to pay for a young girl’s hearing aid in Reston! Their next stop is getting copies of the book available in public libraries to increase access.

They credit their AP Language teachers at Oakton for assisting with revisions and input.
