At Laurel Ridge Elementary School our mission is to work collaboratively with families and students to foster curiosity, promote global learners, and provide a safe school culture for each child. This is accomplished through a wealth of educational opportunities from a highly qualified staff of educators and the support of a dedicated parent community. Laurel Ridge provides a safe learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and emphasizes high expectations for students, both academically and behaviorally.

Laurel Ridge is committed to providing a positive learning environment where students take learning risks, develop positive personal qualities, and foster respect for individual differences. We strive for inclusion and compassion for all, resilience and perseverance in learning, and empowerment of the individual.

A partial-immersion program enables identified students in kindergarten through sixth grade to think, speak, read, and write in Spanish as they learn mathematics and science. Additionally, the Comprehensive Support Services program is an integral part of the school. This program serves students with special needs in a supportive environment.

Laurel Ridge is fortunate to have an active and vibrant PTA that works tirelessly to support the efforts of the mission of the school. We celebrate the outstanding partnership between the school, parents, and the entire community as we move forward in our tradition of excellence.
