The “fivetwofive” class returns for its 5th Annual Album Release Concert, showcasing a student-produced, multi-genre album performed live on May 22. The performance will feature student-written, produced, and engineered music across multiple genres.

Underclass students returning next year must complete the Summer Checkout Form to keep their device, while seniors must return laptops to clear graduation requirements. We recently welcomed a new group of students into the Math Honor Society, honoring their academic excellence and commitment to mathematics. The ceremony highlighted the importance of curiosity, perseverance, and using knowledge to make a difference.

Students and families can now view the full spring testing schedule, including SOL dates, AP exams, senior and underclass exams, bell schedules, graduation details, and important end-of-year deadlines.

WP Dance Team will be hosting auditions on June 17, along with two additional prep clinics and a mock audition. We’re also offering our summer kids camp—details are included here!

Students Helping Others United Together (SHOUT) is an optional end-of-year service learning opportunity for seniors to give back to the community. From May 28–June 2, approved seniors may complete 20 hours of community service at off-campus locations throughout the greater community. Seniors will learn more in their Government classes soon!

A unique partnership with Virginia Tech connects West Potomac students to college mentors and real-world marketing experiences. Marketing students were participated in an interactive, real-world collaboration with college students and industry professionals—building skills, confidence, and connections for the future. 💙🐾
