ESH3833 Literacy Essentials
The ESOL Literacy and Numeracy class provides currently enrolled FCPS high school ELP Level 1 and 2 students (with a SLIFE status) with the opportunity to develop their literacy and numeracy skills. Students will meet face-to-face with their teachers daily. Through this three-week course, students will build the background knowledge, academic language, and skills necessary for success in future English and mathematics courses. Limited slots available. This is a non-credit class. The first day of class for ESOL Numeracy Essentials & ESOL Literacy Essentials is Monday, July 8. Please complete the required student forms found at http://www.fcps.edu/is/summer/forms.shtml and have your student bring them to school on the first day. Students will receive transportation information before the course/class begins.
