Sixth Grade
Sixth grade prepares students for the transition to middle school by strengthening academic skills, independence, and self-advocacy. Students are challenged to think critically, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of their learning as they grow into confident leaders.
Language ArtsStudents strengthen critical reading, writing, and discussion skills across fiction and nonfiction texts, with an emphasis on analysis, organization, and evidence.
MathematicsInstruction includes ratios, rational numbers, expressions, equations, data analysis, and foundations for algebraic thinking.
ScienceStudents explore life science, physical science, and Earth science concepts through inquiry-based learning and scientific problem solving.
Social StudiesStudents study world history, focusing on geography, culture, economics, and global connections.
