At Beech Tree Elementary, we are proud to share that our school has earned the Virginia Purple Star Designation—a special recognition that highlights our commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families.
The Purple Star Designation is awarded to schools that go above and beyond to meet the unique needs of military families. These schools are recognized by the Virginia Department of Education for creating welcoming, supportive environments where military-connected students can thrive both academically and socially.
We are honored to be part of this important work. Beech Tree is one of 145 Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)that have earned this distinction, demonstrating a division-wide commitment to military families.
