Belle View Meteorologists

Fourth and Sixth Graders at Belle View Elementary School recently experienced a hands-on lesson in meteorology, thanks to a special spotlight segment with ABC7's Good Morning Washington . The young learners got a chance to step in front of the camera, learn about weather instruments, and share ways to stay safe during severe weather.

The interactive experience not only gave students a glimpse into weather science but also highlighted the importance of science in fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Senior Meteorologist, Brian van de Graaff, made science fun and relatable, showcasing how real-world applications can inspire future careers.
