Hello! My name is Renee Brown.  I am a Primary Literacy Collaborative Coach here at Braddock. I have been teaching in Virginia for many years as a 1 st grade and 2 nd grade classroom teacher, a reading intervention teacher and a literacy coach.  I earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Elementary Reading and Literacy, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and was a Reading Recovery teacher for 10 years.  I am married and have two daughters; one is in 8 th grade this year and one is in 10 th grade.  I always love to read new books, yet also love to reread favorites, such as books written by Mo Willems or Suzanne Collins!
