A Day of Discovery at the Natural History Museum
Students brought science to life through hands-on exhibits, fossils, and interactive learning experiences.
Our 3rd grade students recently took an unforgettable field trip to the Natural History Museum, where learning came to life beyond the classroom walls.
Throughout the day, students explored a variety of exhibits that sparked curiosity and excitement. One of the highlights was the dinosaur exhibit, where students were amazed by the size and history of real fossil skeletons. They also enjoyed learning about different ecosystems, discovering how plants, animals, and environments are all connected.
The hands-on exhibits allowed students to interact with scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way. From examining rocks and minerals to learning about ancient civilizations and wildlife, students were fully immersed in the experience.
In addition to expanding their knowledge of science, students practiced observation skills, asked thoughtful questions, and made connections to what they have been learning in class. The trip encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
We are proud of how respectful, engaged, and enthusiastic our students were throughout the trip. It was truly a memorable day of exploration and learning!
