Several Keene Mill Elementary staff recognized for outstanding service
Congratulations to Mr. Wheeler, Ms. Simpson, Ms. Yost, Ms. Ours, and Ms. Roddey
In late Summer of 2025, Mr. Wheeler was celebrated as the Region 4 CARES of the Month recipient. Mr. Wheeler’s nomination, written by a parent, celebrated his ability to inspire reluctant readers to find a love of reading and school.
Mrs. Simpson was recognized in December 2025 as Keene Mill’s Outstanding Teacher. Nominations from parents and staff highlighted Mrs. Simpson’s ability to form meaningful relationships with students and staff, fostering both perseverance and resilience.
