This week, every student at Stratford Landing had the chance to step into a universe of wonder—without ever leaving the building! Thanks to the generosity and school spirit shown during our Rock n Run fundraiser, we earned an incredible prize: a visit from a full inflatable mobile planetarium. From the moment the giant dome inflated in the gym, excitement buzzed through the halls. Classes filed in one by one, ready for a journey through the stars. Once inside, students were transported into a 360° night sky filled with constellations, planets, and stories that spark curiosity and imagination. Our younger learners gazed wide-eyed as they spotted the Big Dipper for the first time, while older students dove deeper into concepts like the phases of the moon, planet motion, and how ancient cultures used the sky to navigate and tell stories. The immersive visuals made students feel like they were floating through space—an experience many couldn’t stop talking about long after their session ended! The planetarium wasn’t just fun—it supported our mission to bring hands-on, engaging, and memorable learning to every child. Opportunities like this remind students that science is full of discovery, wonder, and joy. A huge thank-you goes out to our entire school community for making Rock n Run such a success. Your energy, generosity, and participation helped bring this extraordinary experience to life. Here’s to more moments that spark curiosity and inspire our future scientists, explorers, and dreamers! 🌟🚀
