GCU Traditional Campus -  Phoenix, AZ:

  • Courses are in-person and on-campus for the  Fall 2024 Semester  (09/03/2024 - 12/15/2024)

Course:  Criminal Procedure and Public Policy

This writing-intensive course covers the criminal procedural process from a constitutional perspective as it relates to due process and crime control. It also covers the mechanics of how public policy guides the administration of justice.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

*Teaching Experience Required

  • PhD in Justice Studies OR
    • Legal Studies OR
    • Criminal Justice OR
    • JD
  • OR Master’s in above areas
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credits in Justice Studies AND has substantial teaching experience
